Can You Have Too Much Fun?

Yes. I do it almost every week.

Can You Have Too Much Fun?

I like to think of my joint repair practice in terms of a sliding scale, from "Red Flag", meaning a definite injury or event possibly requiring medical intervention, to "Good To Go" - meaning no pain, fully functional.

Between these is a middle zone called "Requires Training Modifications."  This is where an injury hasn't occurred yet, but very well might if we don't listen to our body and make some changes:

When most or all of my body is Good To Go, that's when I engage in the most high-performance activity - jumping, sprinting, etc.

However, this stuff is hard on the body, and I know if I overdo it my joints will start backsliding towards the Modification Zone.

When this happens I don't get upset.

I don't worry I've done anything wrong.

I simply adjust my practice back in the direction of mobility/joint repair.

That way, every time I have too much fun I can simply pump the brakes, fall back on my practice, and be Good To Go again before long!
