It's Not Either/Or. It's "How Much?"
I love my sports and hobbies, but they're hard on my body.
Because of this, I never really STOP my joint repair practice.
I simply adjust the AMOUNT of it I do each day depending on how much I've played and what my body's telling me:
As long as I'm always listening to my body and not letting my ego get in the way, I can make smart adjustments to my routine each day and keep playing.
The big takeaway for most folks is that once you start a joint repair practice, you never stop.
Bodies need daily maintenance.
The harder you play, the more maintenance you need.
That's just how it is :)
However, the GOOD news is that this doesn't have to mean endless hours exercising. For the majority of my clients, most of whom are over 65, daily joint repair practice amounts to just 30-45 minutes/day to make continuous progress for YEARS, and just 10-15 minutes/day for basic maintenance.
It's all about consistency over intensity when it comes to rebuilding joints.
"Grease the groove" each day, turn the dial up when you need to, and try not to have TOO much fun out there ;)
You can do this.
