Move, Shake, & Drill

Put 'em together to hit fast forward on healing

Move, Shake, & Drill

At its deepest, joint repair is a manner and method of approaching your LIFE as a movement practice.

At its most practical, however, joint repair is a system for triggering the body's remodeling process, and it has three main components:

1) Mobility - the practice of blending resistance training with stretching during exercise.  It's the single most effective way to actively remodel fascia and tendon, and regenerate deeper structures like ligaments and cartilage.

2) Shaking - the tendency to briefly shake our limbs and torso following an exercise or hard labor task has unique benefits that can be amplified by treating shaking as its own practice and doing MORE of it.

3) Massage - deep tissue massage is the most effective passive method of triggering the remodeling process, one that can be learned and applied independently.

When teaching clients how to conduct their joint repair practice, I shorten all this up to "Move, Shake, and Drill."

Each one, on its own, helps the body repair and remodel itself.

But when COMBINED into a series and practiced regularly?

That's when miracles happen.

The only "catch", if you want to call it that, is that once you start joint repair, you never stop.

Your joints need daily care and maintenance.

They always have.

Move, shake, and drill.
